March 4, 2011 - Stacy A. Padula’s new book, Montgomery Lake High #2: When Darkness Tries to Hide, has risen to the #2 spot on Amazon’s bestseller list in the Teen Religion and Spirituality category after just a few weeks in release. This is the author’s second installment in the Montgomery Lake High series; five books are planned.
The author began to write the series when in high school herself, after seeing that most popular books did not give an accurate portrayal of the teenage experience. She hopes her novels will help kids face the ‘war zone’ that is high school, deal with the stress and peer pressure, and encourage them to steer a straight path, pursue God, and not fall for false promises.
